YCW Harriers conducts its track and field club championships each Friday night.

This year competition starts on Friday October 18th 2024 at 5.45pm

These championships consist of one round each of sprint, distance and field for each age group.

Our greatest priority for these Friday nights is that our juniors have fun.

Proposed Start Date

Registration Night – Friday October 11th 2024 (5.30pm to 6.30pm) – Ballarat YCW clubrooms cnr York and Young St

Competition starts – Friday October 18th 2024 at 5.45pm at Llanberris Reserve.

There will be 10 weeks before Christmas (finishing on Friday 20th December 2024)

Competition will resume Friday 7th February 2025 and finish Friday 28th February 2025

Presentations will be on Friday 14th March 2025

If you want to register now, you can click on the registration form below, fill it out and email to our secretary and pay by bank deposit (The details are on the form)

We will also hold a registration night on Friday October 7th. Registrations will be taken on competition nights, but the more we get prior to starting, the easier it is to organise the age groups and competition on the night

BRAC Interclub

YCW also has under 14 and under 16 Girls and Boys teams competing in the Ballarat Regional Centre Inter-Club competition.

This competition runs from 1.30pm on Saturday afternoons, and all 12 to 16 year old are welcome to come along and compete for YCW.

You can run one week without being registered. If, however, you wish to score points for your team, and be eligible to run finals, you need to run as a registered Athletics Victoria runner for four weeks of competition.

Track Season starts on the 5th of October 2024
