Ballarat YCW has a very vibrant junior contingent of 300 competing members.
In Track Season, Our Junior Harriers, as we call them, range from under five to under 16 and they compete on Friday nights at Llanberris Reserve.
For the 2024-25 season we have a registration night on Friday 11th October 2024 and competition starts on Friday 18th October 2024

One of the features of this competition is the way in which 200 children can compete in 4 events on the night and be finished within 90 minutes. This is something that parents find very appealing.
In Cross Country we run a Junior Harriers Cross Country program. This is held on Saturday Afternoons from April through to September.
The 2025 Cross Season will start on Saturday March 29th
